The Construction Process
- Excavation & Footings: The area is dug out, and concrete footings or a base slab are poured to provide a level foundation for the walls.
- Stacking Blocks: ICF blocks are "dry-stacked" like giant LEGOs. Corner blocks are placed first, followed by straight or radius runs.
- Reinforcement & Plumbing: Steel rebar is placed horizontally and vertically within the blocks. Plumbing, lighting, and skimmer cutouts are made directly into the foam.
- Concrete Pour: Once braced, concrete is pumped into the hollow cavity of the foam forms, creating the solid pool shell.
