Custom ICF Pools

Building Contractor Services

Transform Your Space with Dagan Construction Co.

Here at Dagan Construction Co., we specialize in high‑quality ICF construction—and that expertise extends well beyond homes and foundations. We design and build custom ICF pools that are tailored to your lifestyle, your property, and the way you want to enjoy your outdoor space. Every pool is crafted to integrate seamlessly with your landscaping, creating a cohesive and functional backyard environment.

ICF pools offer exceptional strength, energy efficiency, and long‑term durability. The insulated concrete form system provides superior temperature retention, reduced maintenance, and enhanced structural integrity compared to traditional pool-building methods. This means your pool stays comfortable, performs better, and stands up to the elements for decades.

Whether you're envisioning a serene retreat, a family‑friendly gathering space, or a bold centerpiece for your backyard, our team can bring it to life with the reliability and performance of ICF. With Dagan Construction Co., you’re choosing a pool built to last—and a backyard designed around the way you live.

Key Advantages of ICF Pools

  • Energy Efficiency: The continuous insulation on both sides of the concrete wall prevents over 80% of heat loss through the sides and bottom, often reducing heating costs by up to 60%.
  • Speed of Construction: Stacking lightweight blocks is significantly faster and less labor-intensive than traditional shotcrete or poured concrete methods.
  • Durability: The fiberglass-reinforced concrete core provides extreme structural integrity, often rated to last 100+ years and resist environmental stressors like freeze-thaw cycles and ground movement.
  • Design Flexibility: Blocks can be easily cut or use specialized "radius forms" to create custom curves, benches, and complex shapes that are difficult with other

The Construction Process

  1. Excavation & Footings: The area is dug out, and concrete footings or a base slab are poured to provide a level foundation for the walls.
  2. Stacking Blocks: ICF blocks are "dry-stacked" like giant LEGOs. Corner blocks are placed first, followed by straight or radius runs.
  3. Reinforcement & Plumbing: Steel rebar is placed horizontally and vertically within the blocks. Plumbing, lighting, and skimmer cutouts are made directly into the foam.
  4. Concrete Pour: Once braced, concrete is pumped into the hollow cavity of the foam forms, creating the solid pool shell.
  5. Waterproofing & Finishing: A waterproof membrane or specialized pool plaster (like BuildCrete) is applied to the interior. Common finishes include vinyl liners, tile, or plaster.

Why Build An ICF Pool

Building an Insulated Concrete Form (ICF) pool offers superior energy efficiency, exceptional durability, and faster construction times compared to traditional methods. ICF pools use foam-insulated walls to dramatically reduce heat loss, keeping water warmer longer while cutting energy costs. They are resistant to cracking, highly customizable in shape, and often more cost-effective due to reduced labor and forming.

Custom ICF Pools

Custom Insulated Concrete Form (ICF) pools are a modern, high-performance alternative to traditional concrete or vinyl-lined pools. They are constructed using interlocking, lightweight foam blocks that are stacked to form the pool's walls, reinforced with steel rebar, and then filled with concrete. This method combines the structural strength of a concrete pool with the thermal benefits of high-grade insulation.
